The Rainbow Bridge Story

In Loving Memory of our Very Best Friends

Candy Black Candy Black     Loved By: David B.

She lived for 14 years and 5 months, died April 18, 1993 at 7:00 PM .   Candy came into my life when she appeared during a family reunion and no one knew who she belonged to.  She jumped in the car with me as I was leaving. She was so cute I couldn't just leave her.  I often think of her and can't wait to be with her again.

Beamer We found Beamer 5 years ago when he was just a tiny kitty. Although I'm basically a "dog person," there was just something special about Beamer. He fit right in with the other cat and the 2 dogs. Such a cutie...had a funny way of cocking his head and so vocal...just meowed louder and louder until he was let in or fed or whatever it was he wanted. He died August 1998 from an overdose of general anesthesia during a skin biopsy. He was buried in the back yard under the big crepe myrtle. We miss him so much. Dorothy L.

Sophie Sophie  Aug 18. 88 - Jan 16, 99

Sophie was a very special dog...She loved to sing,  especially her name and Happy Birthday!.  She also loved her treats.  When she came in from being outside,  Mom would give her a treat.  She wouldn't let Mom forget.  And if Mom did forget, Sophie would jump up, open the drawer where the treats were and get it herself!!!  She will be missed by many...

Buttons Buttons: born 6/21/87 died 11/6/98. Favorite toy was a tattered stuffed pound purry. After eating his meals he would attack his baby, walk around the house with it, then sit down and carefully lick and clean it. He loved to go to "grandmas" and sniff in the back yard under the bird feeder. "Grandpa" taught him to "sit pretty" for a cookie. He was addicted to jerky treats and would growl and dance at 7 PM every night pestering me until he got his fix. He would then go lay down in his cat tee pee for a nap. He was laid to rest under the bird feeder with a stone cherub watching over him.

Puddy

Puddy was a survivor. She fought long and hard. On 2/2/99 @ 6PM, Puddy went to play along the Rainbow Bridge in the sunshine. She will be missed by Irene, Carol, Smokey, Tigger and Patches but will be there to greet them.....one by one.

Brody Brody, owned by Margaret Pittman, went to play beside the Rainbow Bridge on 5/7/99. He was a loyal companion to Margaret and her other dog, Shadow. He will be missed and thought of often.

Rosie Rosie, owned by Dianne A. from Montana, lost her battle with cancer and went to play along the Rainbow Bridge. Rosie will always be remembered as a very special furbaby.

Merlin Merlin, the sweetest bird in the world. He loved to pick peanuts from your pocket. He liked company & would fly to your hand if  you put it out.

Merlin went to the Rainbow Bridge on 1/11/2002. He was eight years old.

Owned, loved and missed by Marlyn H.

Grieve not, nor speak of me with tears, but laugh and talk of me as if I were beside you... I loved you so -----
'twas Heaven here with you.
